PRE SMOKE:
Aesthetics: Smooth and light, not prominently veined/Light, golden-brown wrapper was somewhat veiny, yet still smooth and attractive/These are very attractive cigars, smoothly wrapped and glimmering with an oily sheen.

Construction Before Lighting: Perfect draw, not too tight or too loose/Firm all the way through, and burned evenly to the end/Draws well, (smoke) pulls through great/Overall, very solidly made...held up well.

SMOKE:

How it Smoked/Flavor: Very mellow, sweet and creamy but not cloying, with a slight tartness near the end/Provides an interesting mix of flavors and a creamy body...woody and spicy notes prevail/A taste of petter lingers throughout the smoke/Medium to mild, good layers of flavors that soften and sweeten somewhat as you get down the stick.

Aroma: Wonderful creamy aroma with hints of spice--very pleasant/Sweetly floral/Pleasant, moderate.

GENERAL COMMENTS:

SUMMARY:
This cigar is a wonderful example of how small "micro-brands" are entering the market successfully. Currently the Key West Havana Cigar Co. is turning out a wonderful array of well-constructed mild cigars with noticeable "creamy" flavor characteristics and an easy draw. Many of these cigars come packaged in beautiful Amatista jars, making them a great gift--especially for yourself. Highly recommended.
